Bill Davey
(Director/Forester)

Bill Davey is a farmer’s son who trained and worked for six years as a forester in NZ, and started working in landcare in the WA wheatbelt in 1988, establishing some of the state’s first tree crops.

He is the principal/director of Plantation and Landcare Services P/L (PALS).

He developed landcare techniques; including deep stem tree planting and salt land rehabilitation that are considered best industry practice in WA. His projects merge into farmers’ specific cropping and stock systems and he is at the forefront of turning salt affected country into productive grazing cells using saltbush and surface drainage techniques.

Bill enjoys working with landholders, civil contractors, investors and developers with most work coming through repeat business and word-of-mouth.

His hands-on approach, knowledge of broadacre farming and friendly, relaxed manner, results in good client communications.

Cameron Davey

Cameron Davey grew up within the PALS’ family business and planted his first seedling tree at the age of 18-months. After spending the 2025 planting season with the team he joined Plantation and Landcare Services full time in 2026.

A Heavy Diesel Mechanic by trade, Cameron trained and worked in WAs mining and civil sector for over ten years. He then spent five years working in the agricultural sector as a service manager in New Zealand.

In January 2026 Cameron and his wife, Frances made the move to Perth with their young family, motivated by the desire to work in a business that improved the environment.
