Practical solutions to all your revegetation requirements

PALS has decades of experience establishing native trees and shrubs across diverse locations across Western Australia. This experience means that they have practical solutions for difficult terrain or conditions and the skills to provide cost effective solutions to all revegetation projects.

The aim when designing a revegetation project is to have a program that has minimal short and long term maintenance.

All Programs include:

  • Design and initial report submission to local authorities, developers and other contractors
  • Supply of native trees and shrubs
  • Site preparation and mulching
  • Weed control operations both pre-and post-planting
  • Contract tree planting
  • PALS extensive ongoing maintenance reports and implementation of maintenance operations
Mine Revegetation

Mine Revegetation

PALS work alongside WA mining industry environmental teams, helping them fulfil their environmental obligations. PAL’s expertise in low rainfall tree establishment ensures the projects are carried out efficiently. The qualified planting team implement the works with minimal fuss to ensure the outcomes are met on time and on budget.

Revegetation

Civil Roadside Revegetation

Revegetation and direct seeding along road corridors, basins and areas disturbed by the road and overpass construction. Storage, planning and planting of native trees and shrubs to correspond to the integral landscape plan.

Quarry Revegetation

Quarry Revegeation

Establishing vegetation on sites where the topsoils/gravel have been stripped from the surface can be challenging therefore site preparation and species selection is the key to good long term established. Dragging the stock pile of top soil back over the quarry is ideal but in many cases this is full of weeds and very limited in supply. Deep ripping will ensure the trees roots will penetrate the sub soils in search for moisture. Incorporating native local species to the site is paramount to ensure the site is returned to originality as quick as possible.

Sub Division and Land Development

Sub Division and Land Development

As Perth and regional cities expand the outskirts are being sub divided into residential lots. The removal of paddocks and bushland for housing puts pressure on the environment, especially water catchments and enhancing the development with tree cover. Local governments have placed major emphasis and conditions on the protection and enhancement of these sensitive areas. PALS works alongside local council environmental teams and developers to ensure these areas are planted with additional vegetation local to the area and maintained.

Creekline Revegetation

Creekline Revegetation

The revegetation of creek lines is the key to salinity control on a catchment scale as well provide a corridor for fauna.
