Bill Davey (Director Forester)

Bill is a farmer’s son and New Zealand forestry graduate who worked for six years in commercial forestry throughout NZ. He moved to Western Australia in 1986 and has been working in landcare and forestry ever since. His experience working with farmers and landcare groups across the wheatbelt of WA has given him practical solutions to landcare issues and revegetation projects.

He established some of WA’s first tree crops, specialising in trees for low rainfall zones and small woodlots, as well as implementing civil and roadside landscaping and revegetation projects across Western Australia.

His hands-on approach, knowledge of broad-acre farming and friendly, relaxed manner, results in good client communications. The results are tree planting and revegetation projects that merge into farmer’s specific cropping and stock systems. Bill’s company aims to complete work with minimum fuss and follows through with back up services after the work has been completed. This comprehensive commitment to good service is why Plantation and Landcare Services (PALS) has become one of the leading landcare contractors in WA.
