PALS specialises in revegetation of sites across WA. The aim when designing a revegetation project is to have a program that has minimal short and long term maintenance.
This is especially important for new sub divisions where the council ultimately takes control of common areas or on mine sites.
With over 25 years experience PALS revegetation services offer practicle but realistic solutions to all revegetation issues.
Design: Working plans and reports involving all aspects of revegetation processes. Close liaison with councils, shires, environmental groups and federal and state departments to ensure the scheduling, plans and ultimately the implementation of the project, is carried out timely and efficiently.
Site Preparation: Good site preparation is the key to maximising survival rates. Various methods can be adopted depending on the soil type, rainfall and terrain.
Supply of native trees and shrubs: Our nurseries specialise in growing of native trees and shrubs. Localised seed can be collected and grown to specific sites. All nurseries are accredited to the NIASA standard.
Specilise tree trailers carry over 40,000 trees per trailer. Trailers have watering systems to ensure the trees are kept fresh as possible both in transport and on site.
Contract tree planting: Our team of experienced employees are fully trained in the handling and planting of native trees and shrubs.
Weed control: PALS is a fully licensed weed control operator by the WA Department of Health. We specialise in broad acre or small scale pre and post planting weed control operations. A weed free environment is essential to maximise survival rates across all revegetation sites.
Maintenance: We undertake scheduling maintenance to ensure our projects grow well and look good.
Typical site projects include:
- compensation/drainage basins
- Implementation of whole foreshore management plans
- Creekline restoration
- Sub division landscaping and revegetation
- Screening
- Roadside revegetation
- Rural landscaping
